5 out of 5 stars Great game.Esepcially if you are a fan of the show   July 7, 2008
If anything you'll get a good workout and some laughs from the judges comments. It's fun for people of all ages!

It definately not worth your money. It is not pratical. the instruction is very confuse and the game is nothing about dancing, rather, it is a great softwear to test your eye sight

5 out of 5 stars great gift for 9 year old girl   June 2, 2008

This game was a birthday gift for a 9 year old girl and she has loved it. The complexity of the moves is just right for her Wii skills--she can move up levels consistently so it's not too easy and not to hard for her game playing abilities. The moves required by the game are mainly arms, but she really gets into it dancing around the living room. It doesn't seem like a game and older child or adult would enjoy as much.

3 out of 5 stars Great fun - Bad graphics   May 22, 2008

We got a Wii not long ago and my mom wanted something she would enjoy playing. We are also fans of the show, so it was nearly inevitable that we would buy this. While the lack of a dance-pad is disappointing, the hand-eye coordination can get really tricky as you progress. It is surprisingly easy to unlock all the couples, which I have a complaint in that there aren't enough to play. You can choose whether you want to be the guy or girl dancer and they each have different step sequences. I haven't tried Pro level yet, so maybe that will be enough of a challenge to satiate me.

The faults in this game are the poor graphics and renderings of the judges and dancers. They look NOTHING like the real individuals! Bruno should sue, as they made him look like a over-tanned goblin with saggy skin. I can't believe they accepted that design. Ashley DeGrosso and Maxsim so far look the best, everyone else is hardly recognizable.
The load time to listen to the judge's comments and scores is frustratingly slow (I always skip) and their commentary is very, very limited. The dancer move about the flow with all the grace of a posable Barbie doll, with elbows that apparently are locked in a bent position. The twinkly outfits, however, look great and downright real at some moments. This is why the developers probably put so much emphasis on your hand-eye coordination so you won't have time to watch the dancing. Also the dance plays the same whether you hit every move at the perfect time or miss it entirely.

While this may seem like there are a lot of cons to the game, it's really quite fun (especially on two-player mode) and many of the dance sequences are a lot of fun to play (like the advanced Tangos and Jives). I recommend it for anyone looking for a great family-oriented game or someone who likes hand-eye challenges. My mom and I have a blast playing this together.

5 out of 5 stars Great for the whole family   April 28, 2008
I love this game! I bought it for my mom, yes my mom who is over 50 for Christmas and she loves it. The whole family has a great time every time we play it. It takes a few tries to understand how to get the steps and flare moves to get a better score. You can play solo, compete against one another or two people can dance together to see who gets the higher score. I'm addicted, once I get started its hard pulling me a way especially since it is great exercise. If you like dance dance revolution you will like this game.
