Very good product - Great value! November 15, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a very good product and a great value for the price. One reviewer stated the batteries don't fit inside the remote. This is not true. They fit perfectly, but it is a little bit confusing when you initially attempt to insert the batteries because it is a tight fit.
The most common problem with the charging station is it may not appear to be working after you plug it into the USB port for first time. The problem is a result of the battery pack, not the charging dock and it is easily correctable.
The contacts on the battery are covered just a tiny bit by a sticker that wraps around the battery. If you just push the sticker down a bit with your finger nail to clear the area it works just fine.
Compared to some of the other charging stations priced around $30, you can't go wrong with this charging station.
great product September 27, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was just what I was looking for! It keeps my Wii remotes charged and ready to go. I really like the USB connection. I can either plug it into the Wii or my computer. I bought 2 and will be buying 2 more, so all 4 controllers will always be ready.
Really good. September 21, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a nice product. A blue light tells you when it's charging. When the same light starts flashing, it mean it's completely charged. The downside is that it that you connect it to your system and it only charges when the wii is on stand-by. I don't like to have it like that because the wii gets warmer and I'm afraid that it will overheat when I'm playing. But it's still a good product and it's cheap. Also, when you press the Home button on your wiimote, it tells you how much energy the rechargeable battery has, that makes it different from other charges that don't tell you that.
DO NOT BUY September 10, 2007 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
You get what you pay for. Spend your money on the 30 dollar charging stations, do not buy this product. I opened it up and plugged the batteries in. The batteries are in a special casing so they can charge with the dock, but the batteries don't even fit inside of the remote with the shell they are in.
They have to be in that shell to charge so me taking them out of the shell was to no avail. Beware of this product, it does not work.
Underpriced August 18, 2007 This is a great buy that is worth more than they charge. Mine accedently came with an extra battery too, so it was a nice bonus. I'd say get these over any other Wiimote charging devices. Great quality too. My only qualm is that it came with no instructions.
