It Works... June 25, 2008 ...that's all it really needed to do.
I needed a wireless sensor bar because my plasma is mounted on a wall. The wired sensor bar that came with the Wii would have been unsightly and the cord would have been too short to reach my A/V rack. So this is a great option to have. Just be sure to switch it off when you're done playing.
Do you really need this? June 11, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I did not notice any difference on my 52" LCD from 6' away. It sucked the life out of my batteries, twice. I must have left it on? The warning sound goes off after one or two hours but when you get playing you forget all about it. The blue LED light on the front is SO bright I had to cover part of it up with electrical tape.
Works well June 10, 2008 I bought this so I could sit further from my tv while playing and it works well. It's also ideal if you move your Wii to another location. My wired sensor bar was all intertwined with my other wires and difficult to move. Now when we take our Wii on vacation it's much easier.
Pretty good May 28, 2008 I had to buy this because my cat chewed the other sensor bar's wire, so, o well. But it works about the same, it was a little glitchy on one part of one game, but the rest is fine. Probably more sensitive than the other. I use a projector, and this works 500x better because the cord isnt in the way. I got it at walmart for $15. Overall good product.
If you have a projector this is a must. May 23, 2008 If your Wii is connected to a projector then you'll want this sensor bar. Happy gaming.
