5 out of 5 stars Awesome new chapter in Zelda mythology   August 25, 2008

Loved the game. Using the pointer and wiimote were fun additions to the Zelda franchise. Highly recommended.

Game is suitable for children as well.

5 out of 5 stars great game   July 29, 2008
The kids love this game. The Wi is the best for kids. I do not understand why Microsoft and Sony do not make games for young children with regards to their game systems. The Nintendo Wi is the best. Legend of Zelda while not for young kids is a great game that can be played for a long time.

5 out of 5 stars Link'd and Loaded   July 29, 2008
This is one of the strogest "regular" games on the Wii. More for the traditional Video Game player but still a good game for the more casual of Wii buyers. The game is a great example of how the Wii remote can fuction as a traditional game controler with subtle and affective use of motion sensory. This game won't get you up and sweating but is a great classic Nintendo franchise game that does not fall short. Only wish they could have found and interesting way to make a second player involved much like they did with Mario Galaxy.

4 out of 5 stars twilight experience   July 26, 2008
Twilight Princess on Wii is quite an amazing game. It is a challenging maze and I was quite surprised at the extent of the playing field. There are quite a number of skills and weapons available to use. The only negative aspect was the cutscenes, they were long and a bit boring.

5 out of 5 stars I even dream about it   July 22, 2008

We were never big gamers at all. We did a few free computer games sometimes. Then last year we suddenly got a DS and a Wii. Zelda is one of my favorites on both. We usually play the same account and trade off at good trading points. I find myself jealous for the first time when I have to hand over the remote.

This is one of the best games available right now. I generally stick to puzzle games and this one is often a puzzle. You have to fight enemies every so often but I haven't found them hard to defeat. You can save your game at most points so you don't have to start over. You use pretty much every button on the remote and numchuck. It doesn't take as much energy as the sporting games though because you only have to point the remote at the tv to shoot and move the remote slightly side to side when you use the sword or use the lantern to catching things on fire.

Other cool things: There are coins and hearts hidden everywhere. You can swim. You can talk to animals and people. You get to turn into a dog and use senses that tell you where to dig. You soon get a weird little friend that helps you do even cooler things. You get to ride a horse... man... I better stop! It is all really fun. We keep ourselves under a few hours a day after everything is in its place and it still seeps into my dreams.

My only tip is to make sure you have a computer nearby to help you google and cheat a bit. I have ran all around and around certain places trying to figure out what I needed to do. I have talked to frogs and kids and people alike and couldn't figure it out without googling for the key to finishing. Who would have thought you had to send the hawk after the monkey?! Seriously?! We've played around 7hrs and have had to google it about 4 or 5 times.

Make sure you grab a chicken and fly off of some cliffs before you go!
