5 out of 5 stars Brawl   July 12, 2008
I never played it for Game Cube or other systems. But this game is fun and challenging for all!

5 out of 5 stars Worth the money (at least for me)   July 12, 2008
SSBB is one of the better games out for the Wii. It is packed with multiplayer, singleplayer and cooperative gameplay. There are interesting gamemodes that are fun playing both solo and with a friend. One not so big issues is that although the game supports online play, it is not the greatest but it is still nonetheless free.

1 out of 5 stars Not For Me......   July 11, 2008

Super Smash Bros Melee was alot of fun. Now when Brawl came out , i had high hopes. Mostly for the online. Thats where it fails, in a big way. No stats kept, you cant make friends, no records, no rooms to join or special rules to set. Lag is terrible. You have to know someone else with a nintendo to obtain their code and meet them online. Xbox 360 really does it right for online gaming. Im disappointed with this game and would gladly pay a monthly fee for the services Xbox provides. I also find alot of the new maps to be nothing more than frustrating. New characters are good though, but if your new to this series , id stay away. Tried to tell some others about this game. They bought it anyway and are now trying to sell it. Im selling mine too.Oh well.

1 out of 5 stars Really what is all the hype about?   July 9, 2008

I've been playing video games for 20 years, I know pretty sad...but I've got a lot of experience with good games and bad games. I've been a fan of all in-house Nintendo titles without a doubt but Super Smash Bros is just boooooring, especially if you are playing alone. It doesn't take advantage of the innovative controls of the Wii, and it really doesn't compete with the latest 3D fighting games. I'm a huge fan of Nintendo but hugely disappointed that this game didn't have more substance...especially since it touts a single player mode that will keep you hooked. 2 thumbs down, save your money...Wii sports is way more fun, even on your own.

5 out of 5 stars LET BRAWL!   July 7, 2008

Nintendo is amazing. Just leave it at that, even without Brawl. Ever since the release on November 19th, I have just been amazed by the revolution. Nintendo has always been fun for me, from the SNES, to the Nintendo DS, Nintendo has always put fun in video games. I look at video games coming from the other systems, including PS3, XBOX 360, and I said to myself, wow, that doesnt look too fun... but Nintendo made video games better. Now Brawl, totally different story (in a good way). Since the evening I played Melee at my good friend's house, I was amazed by that game. Mario punching Link. Wow! I never played that game again. So, I need to get to the store quickly, I assume. But this game, changed my feelings about Melee. New characters including Wario (in his WarioWare outfit, no less!), Pit! Kid Icarus! and even META KNIGHT! Wow, I have to get this game, I thought to myself. I picked up the game, and went straight to solo. I went to the big "SUBSPACE EMISSARY" mode and got started. I was completely amazed. I watched the first ten minutes of the glory, and found myself with an ear to ear smile. Mario vs. Kirby! Right at the beginning! But soon, I met the final boss. I won't spoil anything, so I wont talk about it. But appearences from Sonic, My childhood hero (besides Mario and Buzz Lightyear), and Snake, from one of the games that my dad and I enjoy, were very suprising. I invited some friends over that had the game, including the best player in my town, we went to multiplayer. Again, amazing. I was dared by the best brawler to be a pink Yoshi for 2 matches. I beat him. So it brought memories and good times, and I remember these from the photos and replays that you can save. So even if you have never heard of Pit, Link, and I hope you have heard of Mario, go ahead, pick up the game. I assure you you wont be dissapointed! LET BRAWL!
