I bought this cable for my PS3. It hooked up no problem and my TV said it was in 1080p. Not long after that I went to Best Buy and happened to notice that some of the HDMI cables there were $70+. Get these cables, you'll be glad you did!

I purchased this cable to connect my blu-ray dvd player, xbox 360 and HD DVR (which is 1080i) from Directv to my new Samsung 650. The picture is absolutely beautiful and shows no flaws on HD channels. I can't believe that Monster cables are so expensive compared to these cables. One thing to remember is that even though HDMI cables can handle video and audio, the audio is only sent in analog form (PCM). So, you should run a separate connection to a digital output receiver or something else (using optical cable) to really experience movie theater sound (Dolby Digital) and video (1080p).

This product had me a little wary with the crazy low price, but after having it for almost a month I've had no problems at all. Buy this HDMI cable now, and don't believe the hype!
