This game was picked out by a 10 yr old girl. She does not like violence or blood. She also picked out Cooking Mama and Dogz. She plays these games again and again and is not bored with them.

This was a gift for my granddaughter so it is hard for me to give it a star rating. All I can say is she loves cats and enjoys the game.

Catz is a fun game. First you get to go to the adoption center to get a cat. You can choose from about 5 or 6 cats. Then you take it home and play with it. Unlike Dogz, you don't have a character.
Kitty Coinz are money that you spend on cat food, cat toys, cat outfits,and furniture. You can earn money by helping out your neighbors,Brandon and Haley. You will take care of their cat and take photos of their cat doing certain things. Also, your Aunt Rose gives you weekly allowances.
You also have a tool bar at the top of the touch screen. It consists of PDA, chest, info screen, kitten status, and game options. On the PDA screen, you can check email ( only when the phone rings ) shop for toys, food, furniture, and cat outfits. There is also the photo option on your PDA to take pictures of your cat. You are allowed to take 10 pictures. To get more film, you have to delete old pictures. On the chest screen, you can play with toys, feed your kitty, and dress up your kitty. On the info screen, you can view kitty cardz (info cards that you neighbors give you), magazine covers that you won, and a icon to change around your furniture. Also, if you have a job waiting for you, you go to the info screen to go to the job. On the kitty stats, you can find out if your kitty is hungry, tired, needs to be groomed, or needs to be loved on. In the game options, you can save your game, go to the main screen, play music, go to the credits, and the help button.
To pet your kitty, press Y and rub the stylus up and down on the screen.

The Kids say the game is one their favorites. It's like Nintendogs. Virtual electronic pet/s game.Earn rewards for taking care of pets & then you can buy toys for the cats or get more cats.3 Cats per name.A lot of fun for kids & keeps them busy for hours:)
