5 out of 5 stars A WII system "must have"   September 1, 2008
If your WII came with one controller you NEED the second controller to take full advantage of the system. Some of the additional games that come with the extra controller are okay too.

4 out of 5 stars Mini Games With Wii Remote   August 31, 2008
2 out of 2 found this review helpful

We really enjoyed the Wii Play (with Wii Remote). The games are fairly simple, but are fun little Mini Games. The games include:

Shooting Range - Fun, but aiming with the Wii Remote can be difficult (we recommend using Wii Zapper with Link's Crossbow Training)

Find Mii - Very fun, find and select the Mii described in the question at the start of the game

Table Tennis - A little hard to master, not the best game in the lot

Pose Mii - Just an OK game, change the Mii pose using the controller and drag the Mii onto a matching shape before it falls to the bottom of the screen

Laser Hockey - Fun but hard to master, like air hockey but control can be difficult to master

Billiards - Fun but EXTREAMLY hard to master, this pool game uses the Wii motion controls

Fishing - An OK game, a bit hard to get the timming right to master fishing with the Wii Remote

Charge! - This is a VERY FUN game where you mount your trusty racing cow and knock down scarecrows

Tanks! - This is the best game in the set, a little hard to master but lots of fun

Overall, this is a great pack to buy if you are going to get an extra Wii Remote. The games are mostly fun and teach the basic Wii Controls.

4 out of 5 stars Does not include the Wii NuChuck   August 29, 2008

This review is written for parents who are buying this for their kids:

Please note that this package does not include all the controllers you need to add a second player for most Wii games. The Wii Nunchuck is necessary for roughly 75% of the games available for the Wii. Even one of the games in Wii Play, the Tank game, requires you to have a Wii Nunchuck for all players... which means if you only bought this package in order to add a 2nd player you would still not have all the controllers you need for two people to play it. They probably didn't add the NunChuck to this package because it would've raised the price to $70. Beyond that, I have no complaints about the Wii Play games themselves, they are simple and fun and they make for a nice bonus. However, please be advised that you will need to also buy a Wii NunChuck if you are buying this in order to let your child play most of the games on his Wii with a friend.

If you already knew this... please ask yourself if other Amazon users who may find this review helpful and vote accordingly.

4 out of 5 stars Games just ok, but only $10 with the remote   August 28, 2008
The 9 games are just average. A few, like the ones involving your "Mii" are simplistic and really geared towards small children. The ping-pong game is a bit awkward to use. But, the fact that it comes with the remote makes it worth the $49.99 cost as that's only $10 more than the remote by itself.

I sense this will be our least used game.
