 Great if you actually need a second adapter. January 19, 2008

Good product, but you do not need this with a new DS as I was previously told. Unless you loose or break the adapter that is included in the DS package, this adapter is unnecessary and will add no features or aid in charging the unit faster. It is basically the same thing that comes with the original unit.

This AC Adapter for the Nintendo DS Lite is identical to the one that comes included with the game system.
One nice feature is that the prongs of the plug swivel in and out. This means that, when folded in, the unit is fairly thin and easy to store. It seems well made and sturdy, even with the moving part.

Purchased this item to replace a cut cord.It was not in the package as shown on the site.It came in a yellow envelope and wrapped in clear plastic.All said it works.Be weary of the picture that is shown on the site.

My daughter left the charger when on vacation and I was concerned that it would cost a lot to replace it, but thanks to amazon it was really inexpensive and quick shipping!
