My girlfriend loves this game. She played everyday, squeals at it's cuteness, and loves to unlock new goodies for her pups. She lost it for a few months and cried because she would miss her dogs. Makes a great gift!

Got it for my neice. She's always wanted a chihuahua. This is sort of putting a band-aid on that need for now! She gets to take care of the dog, and she loves it.
 A Fun Game, But It Eats Up Alot of Time February 8, 2008
This game is alot of fun and it has amazing graphics and sounds for such a small game. The downside is that if you decide to have more than 1-2 dogs it can eat up alot of time if you want to keep them healthy and also gain in trainer points, do competitions, go for walks, teach them tricks, etc.
The main negative for me is the repetitive dialog and dogs you meet as you walk your dog. You have to wait for the dialog and even if you tap the screen as fast as you can to get through each stop, it takes me 15 minutes to walk one of my advanced dogs who can go a long distance and stop to pick up gifts and meet these other dogs.
All in all I have cut back my use of it and gave away one dog to try and not spend as much time on it a day. I still enjoy it alot however, and have become attached to my 3 dogs I have remaining.
