I had heard a lot about SIMS and had read an article on the advantages of video games to kids, so I bought is for my kids and they enjoy it. I have tried it and find it interesting and entertaining. Great time management excercise and it forces you to make decisions based on information presented and see the results of those decisions.

I played this game at my friends house , it can be hard your first time playing it , but it wil get easier.
Making the people is easy , but controling them can be tough.
Overall this game is fun , being your sims , and making the houses , and having familes. If you want sims game , this is a good one to buy .

Two words: totally COOL!! This game is so fun, it's like real life! It becomes even funner when you get the expansion packs. You get to choose what your person looks like, design their house, buy them food and control them everywhere. If you get expansion packs, you can go on vacation, go into town, or get a pet!! It might be hard to earn money at first, so here's how you enter the cheat code:
1.Press Ctrl+Alt+C, a box will appear in the upper right-hand corner
2. Type the cheat code ROSEBUD in the box and you'll autimatically recieve $1000!

Although the graphics aren't any good, and although the characters you create will consistently start fires, I can see why this is the best selling pc game of all time.
You create your own family with one or more members, you buy or build a house, you paint wallpaper, place floor or carpet, buy furnishings and appliances, then "run or ruin" their lives from there.
Although a single family cannot leave the property of their home, your freinds may come and visit. Either you can call and invite them, or they come as they wish. (You have the option to ask them to leave.) From there, you can make good friends, or even marry!
It's quite a fun game, well worth the money.
