I read all the reviews before buying a protective cover for my PSP. I decided on this product because it seemed to have more positive than negs.
I am glad I did. It looks beautiful! There seemed to be some confusion as to application, but I found it as simple as can be. The secret is to have the screen as clean as possible. I laid down the cover and found a couple bubbles near the edge with some missed dust. I just lifted a corner with some scotch tape and removed the dust from the sticky side of filter with another piece of tape. VOILA! Worked like a charm. No bubbles or dust anymore. So try that if you have some bubbles.

I bought the product from the great reviews, but this is by far the worst product I've bought from Amazon.
It is way over-priced for a thin sheet that failed to "function". It is a huge hassle to apply onto your PSP. I read the directions closely and made an attempt to put it on.
First, it did not cover the whole screen
Second, many many air bubbles appeared
Third, I tried to re-apply, but MORE bubbles appeared
After 30 mins of patience, more and more bubbles appeared each time I took it off. I trashed the filter and bought a case that covers my screen

I managed to put the filter on perfectly the first time, though it does not completely cover the screen (probably 99.5%). One millimeter more on the sides would have done it, though that's nitpicking.
Overall you don't really notice that the screen has a filter at all when it's on, but I do notice that the screen is perfect- not a scratch. Product tends to develop tiny bubbles around edges, though you can get them out with a credit card. The cloth it comes with is useful as well.

This screen protector is NOT FOR PSP 2000 (Slim) MODELS!!
Don't bother with all of the good reviews for this product. This screen protector is GARBAGE. I followed the instructions and applied the protector as carefully as possible and my screen was still covered with air bubbles. Not only this, but it doesn't fit the entire PSP 2000 screen, leaving air bubbles and dust to easily get underneath. So I tried to reapply and it said to use clear tape to get it off and I had to try multiple times just to get it off.. and I got some fingerprint on the filter, and there's NO WAY to clean the fingerprint off the filter, so I applied a couple of more time but no matter what you do, the edges don't stick around the whole screen and not only were there still air bubbles, the filter was dirty so the screen looked absoulty horrible. My screen actually looked BETTER without the filter.
I ended up crunching everything up and tossing it in the garbage where this product belongs. AGAIN, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU OWN A PSP 2000 MODEL. A waste of money.
Protect your pricey investment with this screen protector! December 17, 2007
I'll get straight to the point. I have the hori screen protectors for my Nintendo DS Lite and I absolutely love them! The screens are protected and I have the peace of mind of knowing that not a scratch will surface on my expensive little handheld. With that said, the PSP is no different, in fact it is more susceptible to scratches since you can't just close it up like the NDS. Having just applied the Hori PSP screen protector to my newly purchased slim, I can say without a doubt that Hori's products are simple to use and effective at what they intended for: to protect your PSP screen from scratches and to reduce glare. You will not be disappointed with this product. P.S. use a stylus to get the air bubbles out as you apply so that the PSP remains aesthetically pleasing.
