FREETIME IS THE BEST August 8, 2008 I love the free time game it gives me more to do with all my sims. My todllers don't get left out of learning new skills. Can't wait for the apartment sims.
Freetime August 6, 2008 This is my favorite expansion pack for the Sims 2. It's fun to have hobbies for my Sims to play. The more and more expansion packs that are available, the more real-life the games are becoming.
9 out of 10 Excellent Expansion August 1, 2008 Sims 2 Free Time is an Excellent Expansion pack that adds tons of fun activities for your sims to do when they're not at work!
Such as basketball, soccer, restoring cars, ballet or searching for alien life in outer space. But be carefull when searching for Aliens because you will be ABDUCTED!!!
Your sim will now have "Interests" and you can pursue your interests from Competing in Video Games, to Art or Music and much more.
This expansion pack adds some depth to the game and is a must have for any Sims2 Fan.
Excellent July 30, 2008 The game is great my daughter has had a fun time playing it. The only problem we had was that we didn't realize when we purchased it that you had to have the Sims deluxe to play it...so we had to go buy that at Walmart. Thanks, Vicky Smith
Could've been a tad better. June 27, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The Sims 2 Free Time could've been a tad better. Like the many game reviews before me, I would say that this particular expansion pack can be a bit annoying at times. I get really tired of my sims tossing the football, telling dirty jokes ALL the time, getting phone calls from the hobby NPC's. I've had to put SO many hacks in my game just to get rid of the little nuisances that should've been reduced to a minimum level to begin with.
All that having been said, I do like having my Sims choose a secondary aspiration. I like having my Sims be able to compete in contests for cash rewards and plaques. So, yeah, I'd recommend this game to others... just don't download EA's patch for the game. Whatever annoyances you have, you can usually find fixes for on modthesims2.com, or insimenator.net, they're MUCH more reliable. Just do searches within those two sites, and you're bound to come up with something to remedy your problem. All in all, in my opinion, this game is worth it. Hope this review makes your decision easier for you... one way or the other!
