Fun, short attention span game September 26, 2007 This is a fun game that isn't too complicated and requires little mental commitment--the gaming equivalent to a short film. You can have a lot of fun without learning specialized controls and you really can fit in a fun game in less than 5 minutes. The controls are almost too simple (which is a plus.) Once you stop over thinking the controls, game is a blast. Even my 3-year old can return a volley. It really is a fun, short attention span game.
Best Tennis Game Period! August 31, 2007 My favorite tennis game returns and Running at 1080p. It is basicly the same tennis that you played on your dreamcast, or PS2. Gameplay wise it is simply amazing, Graphics are pretty good but this game is all about gameplay and succeeds at it flawlessly. The single player is fun but I prefered the training sessions of the later versions where you earned money aswell as experience. The only drawback and a very important one is the lack of online play. I guess we all wish they could send us an update via the playstaion store But if you have 3 friends over and extra controllers, expect to have long nights of great fun.

Interesting and fun way to play tennis August 27, 2007 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
VT3 is a pretty neat game. I've never played a VirtuaTennis game before. I was expecting some neat gameplay and some tournaments and that's it. However, the "World Tour" mode is very engaging. It give you a calendar with tournaments taking place around the world. You go to the minigames to hone the skills of your player so that you can win tournaments and move up the rankings. Along the way, you get new gear from sponsors and other players. It doesn't do much, but it's something. The neat part is how you have to manage your stamina to make sure you have enough when a tournament comes around. Once or twice, I was playing so many mini-games I forgot to go to the tournaments. My character "got the flu" from playing so hard without rest that he was out for 4 weeks. Kind of interesting.
The graphics are great and the motions are spot on. Once you get to more skilled players the action really heats up and gets very engaging. I was just ho hum about tennis before, but this really made it seem interesting and engaging.
If you think VirtuaTennis might be interesting, download the demo and try it. If you like the demo, you'll LOVE the game.
Awesome Game August 9, 2007 If I could I'd rate this game seven stars, its amazing. The graphics are very good, the controls are simple and easy, and you get to play pro tennis players. Those are the best and main reasons that I love this game. If you are a common tennis player or fan this game is the perfect choice for you. Buy it now or soon!!!!!!!!
