I love this game. I'm not a huge gamer, all of a sudden we decided to get a wii, and I don't like games where I can die, be hunted or need to hide. So driving works nicely for me! I will say it brings out my....angry side. I yell and curse a lot and probably scare the crap out of my neighbors. But its a really fun game to play with my boyfriend or my parents!! Next thing I know my dad just HAD to have mario kart after playing it at our house. So now we're totally going to have to play in the worldwide section with each other, even though we're in different states which is an awesome feature. Yay for mario kart!!

Mario kart is a funtastic game, the steering with the wheel feels very realistic and makes it even more fun than just the use of a controller.

I bought this game when i bought my wii console about a week and a half ago. This game is very fun, alot of unlockables, and courses. be forewarned though, this game is DIFFICULT! there are alot or courses that dont have guardrails and you end up flying off the course to be lifted back on. which you guessed it, puts you in 12th place. don't get me wrong, i love this game but it seems like the computer controlled opponents cheat. your driving along and all of the sudden, everyone else is going 500mph faster than you are, even hitting the turbos and mushrooms won't get you back up with the pack for long.
other than that, great game. but like i said..its difficult!

This is the type of "party" game that everyone likes. I was playing this with my wife, my mom, my sister-in-law, my friends and none of them seems to dislike it. All around, one of the best game!
One of the best games for wii September 16, 2008
For kids under teen age, this is probably the best game I've seen for Wii. They really get a kick out of the driving wheel enclosure for the wii controller and enjoy all of the different parts of the game. Even my 3 year-old, who hardly ever makes it past 1 lap each race, thinks the game is great!
