Good game, so-so accessory August 19, 2008 This review isn't easy, as you get a good and bad in one box. On one hand, Link's crossbow training is a ton of fun. After Wii sports, this was actually an enjoyable party game, and something that my wife picked up quickly, and she isn't exactly one for video gaming. With that said though, the zapper itself isn't something that is totally necessary. I found it easier and a bit more accurate to just keep the nunchuck and remote out, but on the flip side, for a more 'authentic' rail shooting experience, the zapper is something that you'll want to keep and use. I'd still buy this over again for Link's Crossbow training alone, hopefully Nintendo will expand on it as a mini game come the next title in the Zelda series.
Surprisingly I Had Fun w/This! August 12, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for a gift for my boyfriend's son and was pleasantly surprised with the game that came with it. We all tried it out and I became pretty competitive (But of course was no match for my police officer boyfriend who blew us all out of the water with his skills!!) Nonetheless, I actually had fun with this and am contemplating getting one for my Wii system! I will say that my controller seemed to have the battery life sucked out of it a lot quicker though...which didn't make that much sense to me, but that's the only thing I noticed. For $20, this really offers a lot!!
A Much for the WII August 11, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I receive this from amazon and tried it right away. It is a blast. If you love duck hunt like I did with the first nintendo. Then you will love this. I even had to take the gun away from my mom she love it so much. This will be another fun game to play with family and friend.
Good, for something to do. August 9, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I mean, come on! Nintendo has tons of new products for the Wii everyday, and for something to do, I would say pick up the Wii Zapper. The Zapper is fun, and Link's Crossbow Training is also the same. It will at least give you something to do for just 20 minutes.
Good Controller Great Game August 3, 2008 The zapper is a little strange as the trigger is out front rather than in back where one would find it on a rifle. Once you get used to that oddity the zapper works great. The game that comes with it "Link's Crossbow Training" is great. I loved this game the only problem is it was a bit short. The game developers really should make some more games utilizing this controller though. Once you've beaten the game there isn't much else to do with the controller.
