Great for multi-player April 10, 2008 If you were expecting a great single player game like the first Rayman for the Wii then you'll be disappointed in how fast the single player portion is over. Yes it is fun, but short. The multi-player aspect on the other hand is great. The graphics are ok, but seem a little less than the first.
Awesome game April 10, 2008 Bought the 1st edition of Rayman and LOVED it... this new 2nd edition is even better and the best fun all around. This is actually my FAVORITE wii game of all...
A lot of fun...but... April 9, 2008 this game is sooo much fun...no one can argue that...this game really lets you know a lot of the ways that the wii remote and nunchuck can be used...which i like...its not just the same motions over and over again...also...i love the fact that its set up so that you play mini-games...get 4 people in the same room and travel the world...you've got your night set...
my only complaint about this game is that when you're just playing by yourself or only with one other person...it gets a little repetitive...
over all i say its a great buy
Wii Rabbits March 25, 2008 My son loves this game. It is something that we can play together. He loves all the new music, but it is oldies to me!!!! Lots of exercise involved. Good for those couch sitters!!!!
Multiplayer Fun March 25, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am not the lone gamer, so I value most the games that you can play with family and friends. That said, IMO Raving Rabbids 1 and 2 are the best games available for the Wii, together with Mario Party and Mario Strikers. We laugh at each other, young and old alike, and have a good time together.
Raving Rabbids 1 is more linear, there is a definite story and you will unlock the minigames one after another. The greater part of the minigames are turn based, so we don't play together. OK, it is not so much multiplayer. Raving Rabbids 2, on the contrary, is not too linear, you can unlock all the minigames in a couple of sessions, and the greater part of those are really multiplayer.
Other differences between RR1 & RR2: both have music minigames, where you must shake the controllers according to the rhythm. The songs in RR1 are somewhat better, although both soundtracks are great. In RR1, two can play in a split screen. In RR2, up to four can play together in a single screen, each player assigned to a instrument or vocals. If you play poorly, the sound of your instrument will fade.
The rail shooters are superb in RR1, and good in RR2.
In both games, the bunnies are very funny. No other game in any other platform has made me laugh so much as these RR1 & RR2. In this aspect, both are equal. Five/Five Stars.
