As good as the first - with multiplayer! May 30, 2008 We LOVE this series of Wii games! The multiplayer facet is definitely the way to go! It has an aspect of "Rock Band" to it too, which is fun.
great multiplayer May 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This game played with 4 player (numchuks required) is a must for multiplayer party game. The first rayman was better on story mode, but this second installment blows it away in multiplayer department. Almost all games are simultaneaous 4 player action. Except the shooting games (2players) You get to custimize the minigames you want to play in a set 8 or so. Then you duke it out with 3 more friends acumulating points til the end. Each minigame grants winner 8 points, runner up 6, 4, 2.
Great game, loads of fun for kids May 14, 2008 This is one of the funner Wii games available, especially for non-gamer kids and adults. There are lots of different sub-games and levels, and characters to pick from. Great graphics and sound/music. Highly recommended.
Not as good as the first, BUT Still hours of fun! May 12, 2008 Not really as good as the first, but it is still fun for everyone. Somce of the games are a bit pointless, and you don't really feel as if you getting scored properly. But then again, the points don't really matter when you shooting toilet plungers, right?! Still at the top of the stack, and the kids will just love it for the plungers and the easy game play. The game keeps moving even if you lose at a game, (which is nice for kids) not alot of frustration playing this game, just fun.
Why I Bought The Wii May 1, 2008 This game is WHY I bought a Wii. I played it over at a friend's house and couldn't get enough of it, although I have found that playing it by myself is not nearly as much fun as playing it with a group of people (partly because when you play by yourself you HAVE to be Rayman, and I'd much rather be a Rabbid, they're so much cuter!).
The game itself is full of fun mini-games in various countries, and the games themselves are usually extremely silly but a lot of fun to watch. I've found that the best time we've had is playing with two controllers with 3 or more people and switching off every so often... because this game can be quite a work out! If you really get into it you may find that your arm muscles hurt a little the next day, but how much fun compared to just sitting there while your fingers cramp up!
There often isn't very much more to the games than moving the controllers and pressing one or two buttons, so it's very easy, but at the same time extremely engaging as every mini-game is very different and usually just as silly! One of my favorite parts of the game is when the Rabbid is giving you directions on how to play the upcoming mini-game, his facial expressions are HILARIOUS and he's actually holding a Wii and if you watch his fingers you'll know EXACTLY what to do!
Every person I've played this game with has become an immediate convert, and if they didn't already have the game immediately want to go out and buy it! Heck... it made me buy an entire system!
I highly recommend for anyone who likes silly fun games, esp with a group of people!
