Train Your Brain March 11, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Unlike most reviews here, I actually think that there's more activities than necessary. I did get all gold medals immediately. To get all 45 platinum medals took some doing, though. What I noticed is that as my score breaks 2000g, things at real-life starts to slow down, which means my brain actually works faster. I had continuous improvements up to about 6 weeks, which then maxed out, and only little dribbling improvements now and then. What amazes me is that every time I broke a new record, I actually thought that I wouldn't because it's too easy! Obviously, the brain does improve, even if you're an adult. I imagine a child would have been improving all the way to adulthood. My weight is 2083g, btw, which is a great improvement from 1444g.
I thought I would get bored by the music, but I didn't. Also, I noticed a lot of little touches on the user interface. I don't think it's perfect, but pretty darn near it. For example, you can quickly retry missed attempt without going through the chatter by quickly hitting the retry button before the dialog starts. Once the dialog starts, then you have to go through them.
It actually replaces Chessmaster on my DS, and there it stays, over-riding even Metroid Prime and Naruto Ninja Council 3. Big Brain is a great brain training that is fun and effective. Try getting the DS version as it is more portable and useful more than the Wii version, IMHO.
If you love a chalange February 19, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got this game for my mom and then one for me. I find it a chalange and it has funny music. It gives you a grade and you can compete against someone.

A good game for old fogies! January 20, 2008 I bought this for my personal use after playing this game on my brother's Wii. I am enjoying getting smarter every day!
great time killer January 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've never been a big gamer but my son got this game for his DS for Christmas and I've been hooked ever since. The graphics are really cute and the sound recognition game always cracks me up.
