 Wii Board Charger July 5, 2008
This Item has helped with not having to spend coastly money on batteries. Not that im knocking rechargable ones but they just dont last as long. And so for that i havnt had to purchase or recharge anything. The Wii Fit is always ready to use and no waiting is involved.

Guess what doesn't work? This battery replacement.
Having purchased my Wii Fit and charging the cell for 12+ hours from the wii, the unit fails to power the balance board. I think it is due to the design of the power delivery. There are only 2 contacts a + and a -, that reach only 2 of the 4 contact points on the battery compartment of the wii fit. I will consider modifying the device with a strip of metal to ensure the contacts are contacting 4 of 4 points. Will have to update after my little exercise.

We gave this with the gift of the Wii Fit and it arrived in time for the presentation and was appreciated by our son-in-law. It was well packed and arrived in perfect condition.

The Rechargeable Battery Pack for Wii Fit is a must-have for anyone who does not already have rechargeable batteries. It lasted for a good 15-20 hours per charge. It can charge via usb while you are playing, but the cable isn't really long enough for that. If you don't feel like charging it with the Wii, you can hook it up to any powered USB port. It is kind of difficult to remove from the board, and it's not the easiest to put back on either, but it works and that's all that matters.
