Wish it were just a bit bigger April 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Has tons of game storage, but I bought a starter pack initially which hardly held more than the game. I wish this was just a bit bigger. If you have a travel case on the game, it's then hard to fit all the adapters and accessories in this case too.
Nintendo DS case April 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the second case I bought. I bought a blue one for my granddaughter and this one was for my daughter-in-law and they both loved it. It is really well made and pretty.
Great case April 4, 2008 This is a great case for the DS. My daughter has a smaller case that she also uses on day-trips. But the case she takes on vacations and stores her DS in. It has plenty of room for her games, supplies and chargers.
This is the ULTIMATE DS Lite Case March 19, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am an adult DS Lite owner. I received my DS Lite for Christmas 2006. In the last 15 month I have purchased FOUR cases and after I started to use them, I found that they were either too small to carry anything but the DS Lite ONLY (forget the charging cord and games) or too large and bulky with backpack straps that made it difficult to carry it when we go away which has been quite often.
I was at Circuit City last week to make an other purchase and decided to check the games. In the area where the accessories are, There was only one of these, so I checked it out and realized that it was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Going on the net, I found that the case that I bought was "Limited Edition." Mine is also pink, but it also has a design with pink and lavender hearts on the outside. While I probably would have paid more, it was only $14.99!
In regard to the game card slots being a little tight on the outer row, I only had problems with about 3 slots. I am trying to figure how I could stitch the larger GBAdvance slots to make them fit 2 DS cards.
I agree with the other reviews on the perfect size, workmanship, and features. I have another PLUS with this case that might interest you. Since I have always been a bit of a klutz and drop things, a few months ago I found the NERF Armor case for the DS Lite. It is made of the "NERF" type spongy material that would most likely bounce if dropped. This case covers most of the outside of the DS, making it more bulky and it would not fit in any case with a true to size DS compartment. Because you can configure the size of the DS compartment on this G-Pack case, IT FITS PERFECTLY, with room for charging cord, car cord and of course all the games in the game section.
I am sure that my quest for the perfect case has ended, thanks to "G-Pack!"
Great case for our needs. March 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm really happy with this purchase. As noted by another reviewer, the cartridge slots aren't sewn uniformly, so the DS games won't fit in, but that's only a few out of the 30 slots, and I won't be trusting my daughter to tote around $1,000 worth of games at once either - ;) - so not a big issue for me. Not all will have the sewing problem I'll bet, but if yours does just remove the seam between the 'too-small' one and the next one and have another GBA game slot. That said, it fits everything we need and then some. It has two velcro-fastening dividers that you can set up however you need them, so she has her DS, car charger, and her GBSP to share with her cousin (she's not real quick to kick up the DS when the inevitable "Can I play?" occurs - lol), and games for both. It's a nice looking case and is well made, so hopefully we'll get lots of use out of it. I'd HIGHLY recomend it to tote alot of DS stuff around, but she also has a smaller case that just fits the DS and a few games to slip in her backpack (a bunch of them link and play MarioCart on the schoolbus), this is too big for that. Happy gaming! :)
