It's worth the purchase price. Using the PS3 wireless game controller can be a bit cludgy and does not have all of the features that the remote controller does. It is an extra remote control, but definitely handy to have around.

I read a few bad reviews about this product, but over all, I have to say it's very well designed. Set up was simple, and the lay out of the buttons makes sense. If you have a PS3, and plan on watching movies on it, it makes all kinds of sense to buy this.

well this is a piece of equipment that is just for those of use that want to treat the ps3 as a blu ray player rather than a fantastic videogame machine. it makes the experience of the blu ray player more like what you would expect than having to use the ps3 controller, which has all the options on it, but is still harder to read and maneuver
Very Easy to Use October 6, 2008
This product is very easy to use and makes it easy when using the PS3 to watch blu-ray movies. This product also is something that doesnt go through batteries and you dont have to turn it on and off like u do with the actual remote controls unless u want to charge ur controller every 8 or so hours. This is my 2nd one i have bought since my first one was stolen from me but i would def recommend this to anyone who uses the PS3 to watch blu-ray movies.

Too bad you have to purchase a Blu-Tooth remote to be able to use your Play Station Blu-Ray player but it works great. You can use the game controller to do the same thing but the remote is more user friendly.
