Red is in, and A.D.D. is out. August 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
What can I say? I have the attention span of a gnat. This product helps me keep that under control during long flights, or road trips. The Red case is very nice and the slim version is also compact and fits nicely into my messenger bag.
I worry about dropping it so I suggest you buy a hard case for it. For the price you get a great game and a funny movie, but I DO think they could have added a memory card in the set.
All in all, you still save money by buying this set and God of War: C.O.O. is probably one of the best games out on the system atm.
The net surfing and the additional options are astonishing and I find myself surfing the web when I get board in the airport playing games and such.
Too Cruel for me!! July 31, 2008 1 out of 37 found this review helpful
The PSP in that color looks great!! I bought it for my older son (9 years old) and he just love it!!!!! but the game is not for him.....and when I tried to play it I found it cruel...to much violance.
The UMD movie was good....very funny!!!

Pocket-sized god. July 29, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
The PSP God of War bundle is a great deal. Chains of Olympus is a great addition to the God of War saga. The graphics are well done and the story line is interesting. It takes some getting used to if you've only played the PS2 or PS3. This is a perfect gift for any gamer.
WOW July 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
the pack is outstanding. i never was a big gamer, but i am now. the red psp isn't even that bad looking like i thought it would. the game just keeps me tied in it and the bundle price is unbeatable!
Just as Addicting as it's PS2 Counterparts... July 22, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Firstly, comments on the PSP 2000: I made this purchase b/c my ipod finally burnt out and I was looking for an all-in-one machine to replace it. The combination of gaming, video and music is what sold me...and I must say that I am not disappointed. It plays MP4s and MP3s crisply (if you have the right software) and the UMD movies are very nice as well. It's a little bigger than the ipod, but the screen is also gi-normous! The red shell w/ the Kratos emblazed upon it is nice, but it's the hardware itself that is what really sells this thing.
As for the game: If you like the other GoW games, than this is just more of the same greatness. There is a little bit of a difference in control since the button scheme is down a few...but once you get used to it, it is seamless and easy to control. Graphically, I'm impressed. I'd say the PSP version is just about on par w/ GoW 1, just about. A must have game...or at least must play.
Lastly, the bundle itself: I feel it was a good deal. The system, the game and the movie (Superbad) for $199. However, there is no memory card involved in the deal. There are other bundles (like the Daxter one) which do include a 1 gig memory card...which is a $20+ dollar value if you go retail. My advice...don't go retail. I was able to get an 8 gig Sony produo card for $60, and there's a 16 gig card out now.
All in all, PSP + GoW = goodness.
