4 out of 5 stars its a good piece   November 16, 2008
Hi Every One,

Its a good piece to watch movies. Its got High resolution than any other dvd players. Its got 6 hours long lasting battery power.

Its very portable in journey. a car apdapter is given for continous power suply when you are in journey.

But One thing I hate in this is. If you want to watch video songs. You need to creat a dvd using roxio or nero. I cut a dvd with my favourite video songs and I tried to pay it in this piece. But It did not work. Because it can't read the format. In order to play your own dvd's. You need to create dvd through roxio or nero burner. Simply copy and pate of video clips and play in this piece doesn't work. But I could play the same copy and paste video clips in audiovox dvd players.

So you need to put extra effort if you want to run your own dvds. Make sure you create your own dvd using roxio or nero if you want to have your personalized DVD.

bye

3 out of 5 stars A very good product, but..   November 16, 2008
The product is really good quality. Nice sound, nice image quality.. Everything is as nice as written in the specifications.

The ONLY big problem is that it doesn't play divx format, or any other encoded video format. So you can only play original DVD recorded in US(NTSC standard).

It is my fault I haven't read this in the spec file but I must say I am really disappointed with respect to this issue. Hope the future models will include such features like playing divx, mpeg and so on. Panasonic does that already, but the image quality is not so good.

4 out of 5 stars it is worth buying a brand name....   November 16, 2008
This is my sons 4th portable dvd player and he is only 5 years old. In the past I would buy the cheapest one I could find but they never lasted very long or would skip in the car. I finally broke down and bought the name brand and it is worth the difference in price because it is durable.

5 out of 5 stars The whole family just love it! It's a life saver if you have a Terrible Two.   November 16, 2008
We have a terrible two, whose energy level is very high. This is the only thing can keep her quiet and laugh for over one hour. We use it every day. Beautiful pictures, very loud voice, but, not that good at the highest level. Controller is great!

Very happy with this buying. Had thought to wait and buy the new model 850, but can't wait...Anyway, so happy! Excellent quality/price ratio.

5 out of 5 stars Terrific DVD player!   November 16, 2008
I use this DVD player quite often and am delighted with it. It has a long lasting rechargeable battery - about 6 hours - and is good to take on the bus with me when I leave my hometown for various roadtrips. It is slin in design, and the picture on it swivel around, enabling the viewer to use it at a variety of angles. It also has 2 headphone jacks so two people can listen to it in privacy and comes with adapters so as to enable its use with a regular television. SONY is the best. This is more expensive than COBY or other portable DVD players, but you get what you pay for and I will buy only SONY electronics if possible. I paid a little extra for the extended warranty.
