This game is very difficult. The gameplay is very very very confusing and it's one of the hardest game I've played. However, when I play games, its for enjoyment and for challenge. This game is not so much enjoyable to me and the challenge is ridiculously crazy. I'm into Ninja type action game and been a fan since sega genesis era but this game is not for me. Recommended for patient people who likes to use their brain to play games.
Missing a couple of pieces... May 9, 2008
I bought this because I had never played Metal Gear Solid 3, and while I enjoyed that game immensely, I was disappointed that none of the extra features (minigames, etc.) that were present with the original game are included. The game disc included in the collection (for MGS 3 at least) is actually the first disc of the special edition version, while the bonus stuff was all on the second disc. This product is only for people who want the games only and don't want any bonus content.
 Great way to catch up May 7, 2008
The only draw back from this collection is that the original Metal Gear Solid is on old PS1 cds instead of dvds. This really doesn't make a difference at all, but it was something I was hoping for. Also there really isn't any bonus material for purchasing this set which also keeps it from getting 5 stars. It would have been nice to throw in the originals or something, but I'm sure there is some kind of copyright infringements there. Still a great buy if you want to get caught up for MSG4.
