 A Wii must have!!!!!! July 1, 2008
What a great game. Lots of tracks, fun gameplay, great for all ages. You can race fast or slow..against your friends online...man - this thing is great. A must have!!!
Family Fun July 1, 2008
Love, love this game! I got it for my 7 year old and he has had a blast with it! It is fun to play solo but better with more players. Even my 3 year old plays with us. Even if your child isn't too much into video games they would have fun with this one. At family events we even get the Grandparents to play!
Mario Kart Wii Game July 1, 2008
Great game for all ages. In fact, bought it for Father's Day! One of the best games out there especially for the price! My husband and 7 year old loves playing it together and with their friends online.

I ordered this for my autistic son and he has had a blast with it. He loves to race using the wi-fi option and has to be pried away from it.

OK, there are lots of different types of competitions - time trials, Grand Prix, multi player games, and the WII trademark ability to play a multi player game with your grandson who lives 1100 miles away. That's enormously cool! The game also uses your MII characters as race fans and, in the mall race track, as obstacles who are parking their cars in your way on the final stretch.
But the old stand by Mario Kart just seemed to be more fun. This one has all the old racetracks to choose from, but lots of them feel old - not reworked, just more finely pixeled. Just my opinion - I still enjoy the game.
