Great gaming platform. The graphics are great, and the sound is even better. Can't wait to play this on an HD TV.
'used' system came in great condition July 3, 2008
This was a 'used' bundle that I bought cautiously, hoping for the best. The manufacture date listed on the website was accurate, as my system came with a 175w power supply, although I wasn't able to confirm the lot number. It did come with the bundled games as well, which was nice. Upon opening the box, an inspection showed that there was not much wrong with the system, maybe a couple of scratches, but the Microsoft sticker under the faceplate was still intact, so there were no modifications made and it was not refurbished(my biggest concern).
So far, after a month of pretty good usage, no problems of any kind have surfaced--everything has been great! My experience has been very satisfactory, the shipping from Amazon was quick, and it was all bought at a discounted price, so I give it 2 thumbs up.
My only (slightly)negative about it is the DVD drive. I had heard they were loud, and it's true, they are noticeable when they spin-up and read the disk, but I have never noticed it while I'm playing. And I can't speak for watching movies, as I already have a DVD player and don't use the 360 for that purpose.
I know buying used is hit-or-miss, and I just happened to get lucky, I think. Be cautious when buying used Xbox 360s, but I got a great deal at Amazon.

So far the xbox is working great, very good combined with my sony bravia, great image and super easy to set up.

This product is great, far better then any games ever played on the computer. I only wish there were more "real time strategy" games available for it. I've also heard complaints that the system is too loud, which I have also found. My solution when I thought it was too loud was to lower the volume on my TV, problem solved. Otherwise, no complaints at all, game on!
