Crosswords DS July 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The crosswords are easy and quick to do. there are two varieties of difficulty. The big plus is it also comes with "find a word" and "anagrams". The anagrams can be challenging but they are a lot of fun to complete.
fun for all ages in faily July 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We took this to the beach and the whole family enjoyed the 3 different games offered on the Crosswords. Even my younger sister(27 yrs.) who never had a nintendo decided she wanted one just to have this game to pick up and play whenever. It has a pause and save so you can stop and play later.
Great Games July 8, 2008 I really kie this game. Very challenging. I especially enjoy the anagrams. I am happy to see games for us older folks,
Great purchase! July 3, 2008 I have just bought this game and love it! Not too hard in the crossword dept. but very fun. I like the fact that it has anagrams and word searches too. What a bonus!
CrossworDS vs New York Times Crossword June 29, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've played the New York Times Crossword game and was looking for a change of pace when I heard of CrossworDS. Well...I have to say that I like the New Tork Times game better even though CrossworDS has Anagrams and Word Search. I found the game play for CrossworDS to be annoying with the "pink" and "blue" across and down control scheme. The New York Times version is more efficient. That's all I can say in 25 words or less. If anyone out there is a fan of pure crossword play check out the NYT verison. However, CrossworDS is a nice diversion with it's Anagram and Word Search games.
