5 out of 5 stars Hands Down Best Game of 2007   September 3, 2008

This is the game of 2007, if not the decade. The only other game that has drawn me in this deep is Grand Theft Auto III back in 2001, or perhaps Call of Duty 4, the only competition Bioshock had the year it came out. Its been a year since Bioshock was released and I still find myself replaying the campaign over and over, leaving MGS4 and GTA IV on the shelf. Buy this now.

There is no better game made for the XBox 360, other than Obivion. If you're a mature gamer, you will love getting immersed in this. Best game ever made so far.

5 out of 5 stars Good All Around Game.   August 27, 2008

When I first saw this I was like, "Nah, looks too cartoon-y. No way". Didn't even give it a chance. Then my younger brother comes along and is like, "Try this, you are missing out". And I was. Decidedly NOT "cartoon-ish" in the least bit, Bioshock is actually one of the more refreshing stabs at gaming I've had in a long while. Excellent plot, characters, weapons and scenery (the concept was AWESOME) and a climax that'll leave you speechless (though the bad guy was a tiny bit obvious, as was the reason the plane crashed). Excellent game, a must buy in my humble opinion. I really hope to see a sequel somehow made. Buy this.

5 out of 5 stars A Masterpiece of Game Design   August 20, 2008

There simply no other way to put it. Bioshock is sheer genius and a joy to play. Both the story and gameply compliment each other so amazingly well, that you will find yourself spending hours playing without realizing it.

This is a must have title for any gamer, and a required gaming experience. It simply does not get much better than this.

5 out of 5 stars Great game!   August 13, 2008

At first I was dissapointed in this game, I had just come from playing Call of Duty 4 and was expecting a similar kind of game play. I soon realized that the FPS aspect of this game wasn't the point. it is the story, and graphics as well as the exciting game play. It is amazing! Don't go into it expecting it to Halo or you'll be dissapointed. It has the same creepy aspect to it that the first Resident Evil did. Very well done game, Plus it is basically a steam punk novel brought to life. Awesome. buy it, play it.
