even if you're not in elementary school anymore... October 2, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Pokemon Heroes is one of the greatest Pokemon movies in the history of its ten years in the business. I'm in 8th grade now, and I want to see this movie again after casting away what I grew up with. When I first watched this movie, I loved it. I watched it as many times as I could before I had to return it to Blockbuster. It's a great movie for the family, and it's something that you can never really forget, no matter how old you are. Pokemon: Jirachi Wishmaker is great too. I didn't like it as much as Pokemon Heroes, but its another great Pokemon movie. In its ten years of enlightening people's hearts around the world, Pokemon has made its landmark in history.

So what if I love to watch pokemon.Thats me an anime fan.Im over 13.There was alot of action with a good story. The only part that dissapointed me was when Latios died at the end of the movie .Trying to protect the island of altimore.Team rocket were barely in the movie , but the were funny ,and retarded as always. Its 71 mintues culd of been longer. But its very enjoying if your a pokemon fan buy this dvd.

Not the same... August 9, 2005 1 out of 6 found this review helpful
When Pokemon first debuted, I thought it would rock, and Misty, Brock, and Ash would stay together as a gang forever, and Ash would love it to just be walking around the world, earning badges, etc., and that's the way it would stay. Maybe even Ash and MIsty would fall in love! But, nope. The dudes who are creating these movies are sucking kids in with exclusive Pokemon cards, and the animation is just getting cheaper. This movie is totally different from the original movies and the TV series, and it sucks. I'll hold on to the older series and DVD's, but, nowadays, Brock and Misty are gone, and it's just boring without them. For those who agree with me, get the message out there that Pokemon is going down the tubes and it stinks. Bring back Brock and Misty!!! IT WILL SAVE THE SERIES! Oh, and I'm only giving this movie two stars because they went so far as to make a movie about something so ridiculous, with so much change, and so little things the same. :-( Boo.
POKEMON COULD DO SO MUCH BETTER THAN THIS FILM!! August 7, 2005 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
I'm now 17 years old and I have been a loyal pokemon fan for 8 years now, so believe me I know what i'm talking about. This film didn't do it for me like the last 4 (Pokemon the first movie, pokemon 2000, pokemon 3 and pokemon 4ever)- to be honest it was definatley the worst one to date; however being a die hard fan I did find some positive things - The effects were very high standard, probably the best out of all the films, e.g the tidal wave was breath taking! The voice actors didn't let me down, they were all brilliant asusual (Veronica Taylor, Rachael Lilis, Eric Stuart etc). Latias was adorable and they used pokemon live songs at the end credits; but apart from that I can't think of anything else...
Ok, the negatives are - The story was pretty flat, it didn't have the same impact as the previous films which was a disappointment as I know they could do so much better. Ash keeps leaving Misty and Brock alone as usual which i feel should stop because it then becomes another 'Ash saves the day' theme - GET THEM INVOLVED! Plus what was the point of even drawing team rocket, they might as well not even be there, they had know relevance to the plot what so ever which is soo anoying as they're kick-arse characters! The director captured Vencice really well (which is where this film is set), but they didn't have to show those narrow alleyways for about 5 minutes, WE GOT THE POINT - very scenic though. One thing I didn't understand was I thought pokemon was set in a completely different world including places like Pallat Town and Johto Region etc; so why was it set in Vencice???? Anyway - This film is average, if your a huge fan of pokemon I would recommend it (well if you don't, your not a true fan..so). It's definatley one for the kids, and even though it's the least enjoyable Pokemon film - i'll still watch it again!
Bye!
p.s BRING BACK MISTY!!!!
