 A super fun game! September 5, 2005

This game is great! The first game is the SMB 2. A very fun game. But why the heck are vegtables items? Why can't it be jumping or fireballs? Luigi is free in this game. This is where Luigi really comes in. Mario is supposed to be the best character,but he is'nt. It's actulay Peach. Floating can be very helpful at times. The other game on here is the original game of Mario Bros. It's a very fun game,but gets boring and repetive. I'd recommend this game,becuase it's 1 of the best portable games out there.

The story is that Mario is asleep and is having a nightmare. You are in a land where there is an evil king who hates vegetables.
First thing you do is choose a character.
1.Mario-Well balanced.
2.Luigi-Highest jumper.
3.Peach-Can float if you hold the jump button while in the air.
4.Toad-Fastest and the strongest, but also the worst jumper.
Your objective is to go through a level and try to get to the end. You press the b-button to lift whatever you are standing on. May it be a enemy, item, or a plant sticking out of the ground. You can pick up potions with allow you to warp to the other "mirror" side of the level. There you can heal yourself and get an extra bar of health if you find a mushroom. Or you can collect money for the end-of-the-level slot.
The plants sticking out of the ground are your main weapon. They vary from small plants to huge plants to bombs. Now size only matters in your chance on how many enemies you can hit at once.
At the end of each level you get to fight Birdo, a pink monster that shoots eggs at you. You lift these eggs and throw them back. Once you get to the last level of the world, you fight Birdo and a world boss.
The problem with the game is that it just is uninteresting to me.
The music is fine, the graphics are fine. The problem is, it is just fine.
Overall, I can say it is good for kids.

Just kidding! Though it's quite odd that this time the Mario World has an obsession of pulling out something out of the ground, and it being a deadly turnip, bombs, and a power-up.
Anyway....
Pros-You can play as Mario, Luigi, TOAD, AND PEACH! They each have things they are best out, my favorite is toad, I mean is so cute, he's a little mushroom dude! Hes so gibberty gib, gushy blah nighkj me! Sorry it's so odd. Peach isn't good, bad stats.
-Challenging gameplay! Unlike most Mario games I've played, this is VERY challenging! I love challenging games, you can't put them down! You HAVE to beat the level! Keeps you intested.
-Health! You have a health bar! Not a bar, but hearts like Zelda! Except you only have 1 to start but you acquire more!
- No timed levels, just longer levels! This is a great feature, so you don't die having run out of time.
Cons-Not enough power-ups....Sadly you can't be Fire Mario, Luigi, Peach or Toad, neither Raccoon, or cape, or any of the other games.
-Challenging levels. I know, I know, it was a pro, but it is also a con. You can get frustrated sometimes, because you think something was "cheap" WELL SORRY, this is Mario the game that is STONED!

It's a pretty good game but I liked Super Mario Advance 2 and 3 the best but this one was pretty cool.

I love this game. I personaly think this is one of the best games of all nintendo platforms. I can't get tired of this game no matter what. You should buy this one aling with SUPER MARIO WORLD, the sequel to this game from the SNES platform. I suggest you buy this one immediatly. I really do. Go buy this one. Donkey Kong Country 2 is another great choice of a great SNES video game. BUY IT NOW !
