A very complete guide, the only complaints I have are regarding some of the inside pictures not corresponding with the text and some omissions.
Otherwise, I have been following the guide completely and it is great. The map inside each section is very complete, and whenever I have doubts with a particular section I check it.

If you're looking for a game guide to help get you to all the secret and not-so-secret areas that Link has to travel. Then this is the Game Guide to get you there.
I have the GameCube version, so I got the Nintendo Power Game Guide for both Wii and GameCube thinking it would the the best game guide to get. Boy, was I ever wrong. It was the worst game guide that I have ever used. Luckily, it was free with my Nintendo Power subscription or I would have been more upset about how badly it sucked as a game guide.
So, if you're looking for the very best The Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess Game Guide to go along with your game. This is the one you need to get. I only wish I had known about it sooner.

The only benefit to this guide is that absolutely everything is in chronological order. Unfortunately, some of it is rather vague, and a lot of the little additives are completely unnessary, such as the "Missing Links" blurbs. Virtually all of that is irrelevent and useless. The "Author's Note" sections are just as ridiculous as well, if not more so. These inserts do virtually nothing to aid the player, but only make the authors look like tremendous fools who can't figure out the obvious. Also, there are no separate lists of the poe's souls, pieces of heart, or golden bugs that tell one the page numbers these can be found. This makes locating any of these items a not so pleasant experience, if one is simply trying to find one or two of any of these that one may have missed. Often I find the fortune teller in town to be more helpful when trying to find any pieces of heart that I forgot about. Overall, this guide was poorly written.

I bought this book only because it was for the game cube version of the game as I do not have a WII system. I wish I would have researched it further because it is not the book I wanted. I was hoping for the players guide written by the people who made the game. Instead I got a book written by a couple of dudes who just played the game themselves and wrote a book about it....the bad part about the book is that it tells you to go through a door and then the next paragragh says,"but before you do....do this other stuff....it happens a lot in the book...so sometimes you end up somewhere you dont want to be yet but the writers have neglected to let people know in time NOT to go into certain areas. The reason the book received a 3 from me is that they are very detailed in their descriptions of areas to explore and where to find things. The enclosed map is cool and shows where to find all the pieces of hearts, rupees, etc. I would only recommend this book if someone was unable to find the players guide made by Nintendo itself.
