Technically better, slower October 19, 2006 The game is slower compared to its predecessor, it surprised me when I tried to put it in fast mode but actually it starts this way. I feel it is easier to make a goal (although I have only tried Semi Pro) than the previous version. Manager mode is more complicated, financial decisions are more difficult, the amount of money you manage is very different from FIFA06. In general I like it so far.
I like it so far October 11, 2006 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I just bought this game yesterday. The physics of the ball are unreal, even compared to FIFA 06 Road to the World Cup. It's almost too real, the way the ball bounces off the head, chest, etc. There are lot more shots blocked by defenders than in previous games. The manager mode is really indepth too - if you don't understand the way transfers work, youth academies, etc - you'll be a little lost in the game. But the game play is good, and most of the rosters are up to date - even if Ashley Cole is still with Arsenal, despite the fact that he was swapped for William Gallas on August 31, 35 days before the version came out.
