It must be REAL good as my husband has been playing it non-stop since he received it. He says the graphics are much better that 07 and it is easier to navigate through the game.

I got this for my 10 yo son who is a golfer, or golf freak I should say. When he first started playing the game he had a hard time, needless to say he didn't go to his options area to make the game easier to play for beginners... now he has a blast playing since he made it easier to handle and play. Driving, hitting, ect is really hard to get down in one motion, suggest you practice before actually playing.

I was eagerly anticipating this game thinking that there would be a marked difference on the previous instalment. I was alittle disappointed to say the least. Same old music but by different artists this time, the same old create player etc etc. But there are some new features, Fed Ex cup - that was a good addition, makes it more interesting, the new courses added and the omission of the horrible fantasy ciurses! Yeah!!!!
The graphics seem to have been tweaked but no great strides there. The addition of the confidence meter is a nice touch but as of yet i havent figured out the benefit if any of it! There are alsorts of new challenges in the tiger mode which made it more interesting to play. One thing i did like was the putting count down clock - you get just enough time for all 18 holes to decide if you can make the put, lat least it gives you a challenge.
One thing i did miss and maybe thats me and i hit a wrong button somewhere but i dont get the annoying commentary running through the game, its annoying but i noticed that imissed it alot and the game was just too quiet (couldnt concentrate with the music going!)
If you own 2007 its an upgrade and you might want to wai till its cheap, if you dont i would say buy it - you will have a great time on it.
