EA SPORTS should be ashamed to release such trash, and yet EXPECT us to pay $60 for a game that freezes, isn't the least bit realistic, nor allows you to create and edit players.
EA SPORTS will never get another dime of my money ever, 2k Games got it right, unlike EA SPORTS!!!

I play Madden 07 more than all of my games put together. There are some bugs in 07 but as NCAA 08 looks and plays, i'm betting 08 will be even better. Playing on all madden sucks cuz the computer cheats too much. I'm talking about their RB running over my whole team while my RB gets touched on the shoulder and fumbles LOL LOL and playing it on All Pro is just too easy. Can't wait till 08 comes out.

The review is for the Xbox 360 version of the game.
This game has great graphics, but there are just too many cons.
My biggest cons:
1. No game save during play. HUH? That's right. Make sure you have two hours to kill and then hope the game you just won in overtime actually saves to the HD. At least 25% of the time the game ended and I exited the game only to turn off the unit and come back a week later with the game erased as if I had never played it.
2. Still way too easy to score. Even in the hardest setting. Final scores of 63 to 61 are ridiculous.
3. The announcers play by play are horrid. Madden NFL but with no Madden. What you get is an AM radio tinny sounding broadcaster.
4. Game freezes sometimes
5. Super Bowl. You win the Super Bowl and the game basically ends like any other of the games in the season. Couldn't they have added some kind of fun graphic?
6. I had a hard time navigating around. This may have been why so many of my games did not get saved...since you can't save games yourself.
I threw mine in the trash today after 2.5 hours and winning in OT...only to come back the next day and the game somehow never saved even though I played it through and exited with no glitches.
I have purchased one of these every year and this is by FAR the worst of them all. I will wait and see if '08 has been fixed.

How did I end up paying more for the game than I did on the old X-box and end up with less performance? I could do more with Madden 2006 for the old system than I can for this system/game. Shouldn't it be the other way around? For god sake, let me edit me players, let me create players without having to do the now impossible mini-games, provide an option to exclude all time players from the roster, provide an option to turn off the salary cap, etc. etc. etc. This not asking for anything new, just stuff that used to be in the game that should have never been removed. I don't have time to get a degree in Madden to make this all work. I just want to grab a game at the end of a work day to chill out. It shouldn't be this hard. Oh, another point, unless you intend to purchase X-box live the be prepared for a product that only 80% finished because you will need to load all the patches to get a "Fixed" game. This was a bad purchase and I will not be purchasing another Madden game again until they come out with something that is worth $60.
