Has a cat named "Gigolo" already installed for your child December 30, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
My daughter loves this toy and has played it a lot since Christmas. Today, she said "Mom, someone named their cat Giggly-o." Isn't that funny? I asked how it was spelled..yep, it was spelled more like something else - gigolo.
Be a pet vet December 2, 2007 16 out of 18 found this review helpful
I'm really into Pet Vet. It is a sim-type game. You are a perky/enthusiastic new Vet who has a need for healing animals and to build a practice. The first time I played it I had a really hard time stopping because something new would happen or I'd have to keep running back and forth between the sick animal houses and the office (which naturally are not in the same building). There are only 4 people (so far) in this town, plus their many clones, who bring in first guinea pigs, rabbits and birds, and then as your practice grows you get to treat cats and dogs. I haven't gotten to horses yet, but that will come. I like that the sim vet/you gives the patients the once over, then you get to "treat" them. I hope you get to hire an assistant...all that running around wears me out. The "days" in the game go by pretty fast, but not too fast...mostly I'm too busy to notice the clock much....There's a town where you get supplies, bank loans, training and such. It's very immersive and a lot of fun. Definitely 5 stars.
Definitely for more advanced users... June 15, 2007 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
Pretty intense game. Very involved. Lots of higher level reading.

I got this game from game stop played it for 5 minutes and decided it was unbelievably stupid and wanted to sell it. I found out that the game is for little kids 8 and under. This game is so not educational.A game thats educational isnt like this one. A few days later I put on ebay it sold in less then 3 hours please do not buy this game.
It is fun but hard at first April 1, 2007 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
In the game you get to take care of sick animals and if needed keep them over night. I think the Nintendo Ds game of it is better than the computer. On the Pc one you have to buy a horse to be able to go riding. And on the DS one all you have to do is on the start menu tap on the words "go riding" And you get to choose from 5 different horses. Then you can go riding right away. The controls were hard at first but I got the hang of it. You have to have the right hand-eye cornation to get the jumps just right. Overall I think is it fun. Buy the animal's sounds are a bit off. I would think if you were 8-12 you would love this game. I'm 11 years old.
