nintendogs chihuahua January 26, 2008 Nintendogs is very cute and interactive. It is based on real time though so use your time wisely. It is a great alternative for animal lovers who are allergic to the real animals.
I love this games! January 21, 2008 Nintendogs is a great game. you can care for your dogs and they act just like real dogs. You can pick out of about 7. You can earn more dogs as the better you get. You take care of your dogs and train them. you can take your dogs for walks and enter them in contests. There are three contests. They are disc, obedience, and agility. The goal of the game is tobkeep your puppies happy and be the best trainer you can be. If you are on the fence about buying this game please do so.:-)
Love this game January 9, 2008 This is the most fun I've had with a game. Love to walk my dogs, take my dogs to contests, play with them. They are like my own little pets. :)
Amazing simulation December 30, 2007 This is an incredible program with so much detail it is hard to believe. The dog really responds to you and only having it for a week I know we have only scratched the surface of what the little guy can do. I highly recommend

Please read the ending to see why I rated this 3 stars. Not too detailed but a reason. I do not wish to give fulls rights of anything I write to anyone including Amazon for their own use"
The game is what it is. Puppies really, never adult dogs. You train, feed and love adorable little puppies! I personally think that the puppies were oddly shaped but then it really didn't take away from the realistic personalities that they possessed.
I started with a boxer female named Sprinkles. I couldn't get her whole name in so her name in the game is sprinkl but that's ok. I trained her and won a few trophies and had frustrating moments when she wouldn't cooperate.
You should probably train your puppies slowly for best effect and not worry too much about getting ahead because the puppies are so much fun and so cute that you might have more fun just living with them too. If you push them too hard they might lose interest and you should provide adequate toys and grooming and other care.
It's a realistic simulation that someone who can't have a dog just might appreciate but it is not however a substitute for a real education from books, parents and friends on how to handle, love and care for a real dog. Hope you liked my frazzled review!
Stars: I took one star for the misshapen pups that just bugged me personally and one star because it just gets a little tiring to have to remember every day to care for them when they are hidden on a tiny card and they can be annoying. So yes, puppies can drive you mad with their antics and quirks. BUT, that is me. YOU may have all kinds of fun!
