THIS GAME IS NOT FUN BECAUSE THE MINI GAMES ARE NOT GOOD THE GRAPHICS STINK THE CONTROLS ARE NO GOOD THE 2 PLAYER BATTLES ARE NO GOOD AND THE CPU PLAYERS ARE TOO HARD AND I HATE THIS GAME

I do not watch Pokemon shows or collect cards but I love this game.
I find it very challenging when you compete in four different cups called Petit, Pika, Poke, and Prime cups. In Poke and Prime cups you go all the way from Poke ball trophy to the master ball trophy. i beat every single cup. Can you?
There is also a Gym leader castle where you defeat gym leaders from the gameboy versions. I already beat elite four and Gary.
I especially loved the minigames when you want to get away from battling.
I think it is nice that they have a gallery where you have your Pokemon in statues for beating the Master balls,pika cup, petitcup,and the gym leader castle. I have alot of statues.
It is really nice the way youget toplay gameboy on your N64 and battle your Pokemon against trainers and gym leaders.
once you've beaten everything you get to compete against Mewtwo. You use all six of the Pokemon you picked forMewtwo. Are youup for the challenge?
the problem I have against this game is I don't have a gameboy and the rental Pokemon are weak and hopeless. You get to go into an adventure two mode once you've beaten Mewtwo once. R-2 adventure is really hard because the trainers and gym leaders Pokemon are harder than the first adventure. i think it is unfair for the trainer's Pokemon to have Higher level Pokemon than my rental Pokemon.
I really like the game but the adventure 2 mode is what's getting on my nerves. I am only up to Giovani in the Gym leader castle, I haven't beaten the Petit or Pika cup, and I am up to the master balls.
Be ready when the game goes from easy to hard.

Pokemon Stadium is a great game for all ages. There really is no vicious violence and the game is very easy to play and any kid can get used to this game and get good at it. For the rest of you parents out there, if there was any game that you could chose for your kid, the Pokemon series is a good start.Pokemon Stadium plays just like the Gameboy version except with no adventuring. Basically, this is where you bring the Pokemon that you have raised on your Gameboy and put them to the test in several Pokemon challenges from tournament style challenges on 4 levels of competition (easy to hard) and become a master at the game. I know I said there was no adventuring but there is one and that's the Gym Leader's challenge when you take on all of the Gym Leaders from the Red and Blue series like Borkc, Misty and many more until you reach the Master's Gym where you take on the final four and I assure you on this one, they don't roll over for anyone! The one thing that I really didn't like about the game was that the rental Pokemon are for the most part, really weak. Seriously, I could do without having 2 defensive moves or 1 really good move and 3 kind of in between ones. But then again, that's why you raise your Pokemon on the Gameboy Red and Blue. That way, you know what you're fighting with. The other thing that I thought was pretty cool was all of the Kiddie games and stuff. It was nice to see another set of games inside of an already good game. Again, if you haven't gotten into Pokemon, it's a good start for any parents who are unsure on what to get their kids and it's very good for kids because us parents don't have to worry about any of our kids testing new moves they saw on a game on each other. Again, excellent game!

This is a great game. If you like pokemon get this game. They have a lot new all over. The only bad part is that sometimes it gets boring and frustrating. A cool thing is that it comes with a free transfer pak. If you have a game boy to play on the n64 it's even more fun.
