Sony name, but not Sony quality July 9, 2007 This product is not very good. I ordered from Gamez Network, and it did arrive very quickly. I was pleasantly surprised that the memory card has the Sony name on it, and not a knock-off brand. However, it takes on average more than ten tries just to save a game. So, it does save, and it loads fine, but you have to keep, keep, keep on trying just to save. Very annoying!
MadCatz Memory Card May 10, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Well I think That EMS Game Exchange should not be in the Memory Card Sony Category...
I have been sent a MadCatz Memory card and researching it I have found that people are most likely to have corrupt files auto delete and things like that.
I would always recommend buying the Sony Memory Card even though it may cost a few more bucks buy it i recommend it. You will not get corrupt files and you will bve able to have your save files. Buy it. Do not buy things like MadCatz it will most likely have corrupt files.
Sony Playstation [PSX] Gray memory card March 21, 2007 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
The thing about authentic products (chiefly the PSX Sony memory cards)is that while you do indeed pay for the name, your also paying for a product with the fewest bugs and flaws. In the case of off brand memory cards, the issue was frequent memory crashes or corrupted files. This is not so much a problem when you purchase the Sony lisenced card for the Sony console. For some strange and frustrating reason, when the PS2 slim design was unveiled to the public, only a handful of 3rd party memory cards were compatable. Rest assured that the Sony lisenced PSX cards WOULD be one of the few names that would work. I reccomend this particular card out of any other just for the sake of simplicity and ease of access.
