Very Nice for the Price November 25, 2008 Good sound, blocks out alot of exterior noise. Only wish it had a volume control on it instead of reaching for device to adjust volume. But maybe that would make it cost double?
quality sound for low price November 25, 2008 I've been using the JBuds headphones for a few weeks now, and they deliver great sound quality, and good noise reduction while listening. I recomend these headphones to any normal music listener, nobody hardcore, because they don't deliver perfect and astounding sound quality. They are also very comfortable. I got them to replace my iPod headphones (early 2008 edition) and they making it feal like you don't have anything in your ear, because the iPod headphones are so uncomfortable.
Initally quite pleased, but today not so much... November 25, 2008 I bought the JBuds Hi-Fi Noise-Reducing Ear Buds (Black) in June 2008. I used them daily at work (8 hrs a day). I really liked the way they sound; not the best, but good for the price. They were actually more comfortable than the Bose ear buds they replaced and didn't constantly fall out of my ears. I am really disappointed because today the left bud stopped working. If I would wiggle or lightly push on the cable the left bud would work again. This is the identical issue I had with the Bose buds, but at least I'm only out $20 bucks vs the $100 I paid for the Bose ear buds. The search for buds that will last at least a year continues...
It's OK... still not worth it for me November 24, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was excited to get a headphones with so many reviews from here with decent ratings.... but honestly I wouldn't buy this headphones again even if it was $5.
Pros: Cheap... Cons: Honestly, bad sound (I mean really bad in my experience) bad wiring (crackles if you move the cord esp. at the connector end) plastic earpiece is very thin and doesn't feel snug
Don't know if I just got the bad one of the bunch but oh well, I still use it for non-music stuff (Nintendo DS) =P
good for few months then breaks November 24, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the second pair of jbuds that I have purchased from amazon. The first pair were awesome for a few months, then suddenly the left earbud went dead. I thought it was just a fluke, and the sound quality is really good at this price, so I ordered a second pair. Same story. Worked beautifully for several months, then the left earbud went dead again. I will never buy this brand again.
