Best Buy has the nerve to charge $160 for 14K gold, "premium" HDMI Cables blessed by the pope. No thanks. These cables work just great and this is one example where you don't get what you pay for. You get MORE!
Great Cables for Cheap November 30, 2008
This is my second order on these cables and have them hooked up to an HD-DVR & HD upconverted DVD Player. Works great and I saved a lot of money.

Retail store wanted $87.00 each for exactly the same thing! Purchased two HDMI 6' cables for less than $10.00 for two, including shipping... AND it only took a few days. Good deal all the way around. Working great on my 50" Samsung.

Whe digital signals are sent, the are either successfully received on the other end or the transmission completely fails. There is no in-between state that would inject "noise" into the signal as in analog transmission. Also, its important to realize that thickness does not necessarily correlate with signal transmission quality. I purchased two cables, one for my Samsumg Plasma to TIVO HD unit and the other for my Samsung Plasma to Panasonic Blue Ray player. All connectors fit snug and all components involved worked with no issues. Two cables for less than $10; wow. Walking by a retail store today I saw one HDMI cable for over $80. Someone is making a big profit.
