Love this mouse! November 27, 2008 This is the 3rd mouse I've bought for my laptop in the last 6 months and I think this one may be the charm!
My first: Logitech V220 died after a little less than a month. The replacement: Microsoft Wireless Notebook Mouse 3000 has a HUGE receiver that couldn't seem to make a connection from a distance the length of my laptop. (I'm now using it on my desktop PC with no problems though.)
I love the Nano-receiver on this mouse. The 2 previously mentioned mice had quite large receivers that were getting banged around quite easily. I keep the Nano-receiver plugged in all the time.
Another plus is the carrying case that comes with this mouse. Neither of the others had one, which probably contributed to the quick death of mouse #1.
I recommend this mouse... it may cost a little more than the others, but it's worth it in the end having a mouse that works well and is convenient to carry with you anywhere.
Pleased November 25, 2008 This little mouse is great size. Not too big not too little. Is a must for gaming grandma's like me! Long battery life too.
It's great! November 25, 2008 I chose this mouse for it's very small usb receiver, and am not disappointed, it works great.
I would certainly buy it again , and have recommended it to several friends.
Jerry November 24, 2008 Since I was converting from a desktop to a laptop as my main home PC,I knew that I would continue to use a mouse. I already had a wireless Logitech and was pleased with it's performance. This one is great; easy to install, easy to use, and you can't even tell it's plugged in to the laptop.
Nearly perfect, if it weren't for the middle click November 23, 2008 This is a great little mouse. The battery life is amazing and the size is nice and compact. I have big man hands, so it's maybe a little small for me, but it's still comfortable. The plastic texture feels great and the soft touch rubbery areas on the sides are a nice touch. The tiny receiver barely sticks out of the port, so I just leave it in my notebook all the time. There is a small door on the bottom of the mouse to store the receiver if you so wish.
My big problem with this mouse is that there is no middle click. I use Firefox and to open and close tabs, one uses the middle click, which is noticeably absent. Fortunately the included Logitech software allows you to map the buttons in a seemingly endless number of configurations, so I have the button below the scroll wheel mapped as command + click. This is still a hassle and the only reason I didn't give this mouse 5 stars.
