Perfect for gift giving September 19, 2008 I got this for my guy but now I'm playing it all the time. OMG, its just like the real thing but better! This is a must for all game lovers. So much better than I thought it was going to be.
Fun game! September 19, 2008 I enjoy playing this game. With pinball, each play is different so I never get bored. I hope they release pinball games from other manufacturers too, such as Gottlieb. I'm a happy customer! Fun! Fun! Fun!
This game is amazing! September 19, 2008 This game is extremely realistic. I own a Black Knight and the game version is an exact copy. If you like some of the older Williams games this title is a must have. I just hope they make another version w/ some additional titles.
Excellent pinball game! September 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As a frame of reference, I'm 32 years old and have played at least 3 of the available pinball tables in real life (back in the good ol' days, of course, since arcades are hard to find now).
I received this game about 3 weeks prior to this review and have played it enthusiastically since. I really like the physics in this game and the sounds. Listening to the ball roll down the table surface (especially in older tables without background music) really brings some life into the game.
I definitely recommend this game to anyone has played pinball and wants to bring it back home in video game form. I've noticed that my younger friends are not interested in it, I assume, because they have no history with actual pinball games. I wished some of my favorite tables would be in this game, but since this is a Williams collection, those tables are most likely from other companies. Hopefully this game producer will make more titles with other pinball games manufacturers.
Great fun and don't forget to go upstairs! September 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This game is incredibly realistic and lots of fun. It even uses the Wii's motion sensor to let you nudge and tilt, and the games react the way they do in real life. I played most of these tables for years and it's great to have the games rendered well. Black Knight is the original, but I would have liked Black Knight 2000 personally, but it's still a great game.
The camera settings are very natural and make it comfortable to play. One final note, the way you choose the games is a little awkward in that you move a camera around a virtual arcade. For a while I didn't realize that you have to go upstairs to see the rest of the games.
I highly recommend this game for fans of video pinball simulations. We've come a long way from Atari Video Pinball to this excellent instant classic..
