4 out of 5 stars Almost better than the "Perfect Gun"   April 4, 2008
4 out of 5 found this review helpful

4-stars, but it can be made a 5-star!. OK, this is a gun shell extremely similar to the Nyko Perfect Shell. It has the same pass through to plug in the nun-chuck, with a better shaped trigger and a more comfortable grip on the handle. The weight is about the same. The trigger pull is a problem. The travel is about twice as long as the Perfect Shot and the spring is a lot stiffer. If, however, you are willing to take your screwdriver and open it up, you can easily weaken the spring and make this gun truly perfect! Big fun to be had with RE: Umbrella Chronicles and House of the Dead, or any game that works with the wii zapper.

Buy two, look like John Woo! (Caution: product does not actually cause player to resemble John Woo or Chow Yun-Fat except as a coincidence. Firing two guns can cause you to fail to hit anything with either and look a bit of a dork.)

1 out of 5 stars crappy gun   March 16, 2008

The other reviews are right. The trigger doesnt go in far enough. And the wii mote keeps popping out. You can't reach the buttons at the top. The wii zapper is better, buy that instead.

2 out of 5 stars Magnum Gun   February 8, 2008

The Magnum Gun is not very user friendly. You must first remove the arm strap and or any cover you may have on your controller.

3 out of 5 stars Feels like real, very fun, but the nunchuck part doesn't work.   February 7, 2008

I purchased this as a gift for my sister, and we first tried it with the shooting part of Rayman: Raving Rabbids. It was great fun for five shots, at which point we discovered that the Nunchuck (which connects to the base of the handle) did not function at all. If there's a shooting game out there that doesn't need the Nunchuck, this would be fine. Hopefully, that's not an issue with all of them. If it worked, this would be an excellent peripheral.

1 out of 5 stars Not a well designed gun   January 27, 2008

I think this gun was not well designed. It has a critical mistake because you can not insert Wii remote control without taking strap out, so Can you imagine you have to remove strap every time you want to use it? and then, put it back to be able to tie it up to your hand? Unbelievable! and also, pulling trigger has a very long gap between movement, while you start shooting to the real press of bottom B. So shooting is slower than using remote control alone. If you have enough patience and want to deal with this, buy it.
