My son Matthew wanted the game for Christmas. I am not that good at it but he is. He loves it. Thanks for getting it here so quickly. Miranda Martin
challenging game January 1, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this game for my grandson who is 8 years old and he said this is the best gift I could have ever gotten him. I watched him play this game on his nintendo wii and it was totally well worth the buy. It is very challenging for him and it sure makes him get to know what each Pokemon characters are like. If they are weak or if they are strong, he figures it out. I LOVE IT!!!! MAM-MAW
great!! December 21, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
this game is great if you already have diamond or pearl. but if you don`t it`s pretty hard to get around losing.you would like it if you like battles, thats all you do. it has great graphics but gets a little boring if your are not upgrading your pokemon or beat it but wifi match`s are always fun. i think they need a spectator or something. you need a strategy (because they are real peaple.)
The real fun is with a DS November 11, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This game is only good if you have a developed team in pokemon Diamond or Pearl. If you dont you have to use rental passes. The rental passes have set pokemon, all level 50. That means only your opponents will be level 50. And in some arenas you dont even have to use the set pokemon. With Diamond or pearl, this game is awesome. The graphics are very good. You can choose any of your diamond/pearl pokemon to battle with. In this game you can customize a character, who you battle with. It is hard to get new items, and to get the points to buy them with. Personally, I pretty much stuck with the default.
No use of Wii motion controls in battle October 17, 2007 6 out of 14 found this review helpful
My boys bought this thinking they could load their DS Pokemon into the Wii and then have a dynamic battle using the Wii controlers. That is not the case; the battles are the same turn-based move selection as the DS Pokeman games. We added the Wii to our collection of gaming platforms for the motion control, so this purchase was a big let down.
