After reading some reviews I decided to give this case a shot. Space is the only issue with me, as its difficult to get all your stuff in there. Taking it on flights with me I have no worries about the Wii bouncing around or getting damage, the main reason I bought this one.
-Keeps Wii and Sensor bar very secure, no worries there.
-You'll need another way to bring the rest of your stuff, like the GameCube controllers you use to lay down the Brawl.
Wii Gamer Case March 28, 2008 We like the case. Keeps everything in tact and easily transporable. Wish there were a little more room for controllers.
Great product March 28, 2008 Very convenient and easy to use. I also like the fact that it is a hard sided case that offers more protection.
Not big enough March 23, 2008 The Wii Pro Gamer's Case is a very good case. It does an excellent job of protecting your console. The drawback that I found is that it will only hold two of the remotes and numchucks. I need something that I can carry all four sets of my remotes and numchucks.
Simply Not Enough Space, Horribly Designed March 22, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this case a while ago basing my decision on my excellent Intec Game Cube case. However this case is terribly designed. There just isn't enough space to store everything comfortably. Even if you do manage to shove things in it is very time consuming and you often end up putting things where they weren't intended to go.
The chamber for the Wii console itself is so small it is extremely difficult to remove the unit. There is no where to slide your finger around the side to pry it out. Many times I had to flip the case upside down to get it out. The chamber for the Wii stand is also troublesome. Because the stand's sides are not right angles it protrudes past the dividers. The A/V cables and Power brick compartments are too small as well, you'll have to do a lot of tying and rearranging to make it fit and it ends up in an awkward position. There is barely enough room for more than one controller and nunchuck. There is space for only two games in their cases as well as the sensor bar.
Even if you do get things relatively snug it looks very messy. It rarely closes when full and it is very worrisome to force it closed. Aside from the space issues it is a solid case. The aluminum looks nice and is protective. If they made this case a little bigger it would be great, but it looks to be the product of a rushed design team. I used this only a few times after I realized it isn't worth all the effort needed to sandwich everything in. Don't be fooled by the good reviews, this is a sub-par product. Save yourself the frustration and get a bigger case.
If you get this case YOU WILL BE DISSAPOINTED.
