Pefect shot, not so perfect... June 14, 2008 This Gun really enhances your game play, you can really get into the game, with this gun. BUT it does get heavy after a while, and if you are fighting a boss, it does impair your gameplay. I would recommend this for short term gaming, but not for long term...
Spring needs to be loosened June 12, 2008 I think the only problem with this product is that the trigger is a little too tight. It lags response time. I find it difficult switching from the Wii Zapper's trigger to this product. I'm half tempted to open it up and see if I can some how loosen the tension in the spring of the trigger. Overall, this produce is fun to use and enhances the FPS experience.

Useless on Resident Evil 4 June 7, 2008 0 out of 8 found this review helpful
I'm new at this and may not be doing the product justice. However...
The "Perfect Shot" is like the frame (receiver) of a semi-automatic pistol. The Wii remote mounts on it as would the slide on a pistol. Playing Resident Evil 4, pulling the trigger activates the B button. The on-screen character extends his gun to a firing position. Then you have press the A button on the top of the remote unit to fire the gun. It's easier to play using the remote alone.
While the above alone would disqualify this product for anyone who shoots in competition and is looking for simulator practice, I would add that the unit has no front sight, and if it did, it would not shoot to point of aim.
Resident Evil 4 is outstanding. For anyone familiar with firearms, "Perfect Shot" is worthless.
Best Wii Gun - Room for Improvements June 6, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This gun is a major improvement over the official Nintendo gun shell, but there are still some downsides.
For one, you can't use any sleeves, wrist straps, or even some rechargeable battery packs. This is the first time I've actually had to take the straps off for anything, which is pretty annoying.
The trigger is also a bit too springy. It's hard to pull off quick consecutive shots that are necessary for some games.
Only games that have the Wii-Zapper compatible logo will support this shell as well. Games like Metroid Prime 3 or Resident Evil 4 are not compatible, which is a shame.
Other than that, I like the design and how the nunchuck plugs in on the the bottom of the handle.
