Medal of Honor February 8, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The graphics and game strategy were good, especially if you've never played a game like this one before. I liked the little bits of history they gave you at the beginning of each game. I probably would have liked it better had there been more missions and a little more variety. It's far more difficult using the "hero" level than it is the "green" level, but the game strategy between them doesn't differ. I'm waiting to see if you're able to unlock a secret level if you get 100% on every game, but I kind of doubt it has one. My favorite feature had to be not being restricted to one weapon. There were quite a few different types available. This is a great game for sleepovers if you plan on staying up all night to win all the missions.
As good as FPS gets on the Wii? January 18, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I give this rating more because of the difference between FPS on the Wii and my XBox. Comparing this game to the play of COD 4 on the 360 is like comparing an Edsel to a Mustang. This may be as good as FPS gets on the Wii; if so I am done on this platform with FPS. Give me more sports games.
I'll never use a gamepad for FPS again! January 16, 2008 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I wish I could take these controls and import them into Halo 3, because after playing MoH2 online for a week, I can't go back to gamepads. I want my wiimote!
I can turn quicker, aim more accurately, and it seems my reaction time is faster as well. Overall Halo 3 and CoD4 are better games, but their controls are last-gen compared to MoH2.
If you own a Wii, you at least need to rent this game, to get a taste of the future of FPS game controls. It even controls better than Metroid Prime 3 (which I found sluggish).
Very good game but lacking in some areas January 7, 2008 This is a very good game, but has a few areas which need to be better.
Pros: Online play is very good, very fast paced, and there is almost zero lag. Shooting is incredibly customizable, and the game in general is easy to use and get around. Cons: In the online play, it is a little hard to kill people. You have to empty an entire clip with a submachine gun to kill someone, and that means that if you are a beginner, there is a steep learning curve. You're going to go in and get shot in the head a lot by people who have a lot more practice. It is kind of like going into a Slayer Halo 2 game, and have only played Halo once or twice. It would be better if this game had a health system more like Battlefield, because it is easier to kill people.
Overall though this is a pretty solid title.
Good graphics--love the wireless access for online gaming December 30, 2007 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Medal of Honor Heroes 2 is about what I expected in relationship to previous ones. Having the game on the wii is a nice because you can use the wireless connection to play online and use the wiimote for more interactive game play.
