I was skeptical when I first read the articles citing adults were buying the DS and games like Brain Age to stay "sharp".
I am glad I bought one (along with Brain Age, Chess Master, Spanish and others). I find it has been a valuable tool to exercise my mind "outside of work" and also a welcome break from the daily torture of sitting at a computer all day.

This is a replacement for a DS Lite in Ice Blue (Japan/Asian version). I am not sure how I am liking the controls on this one. It does not feel the same as my old one. They feel "tight" and the up/down/right/left controller seems off somehow. The "person" will move a step or two in a different direction than I want before sort of correcting itself. The hinges seem a little loose as well.
We shall see as time goes on.
On the other hand, the pictures of the front of the case do not do justice to seeing the glitter/sparkle on the actual product! Very nicely done!

I love the Nintendo DS Lite and I really enjoyed this special edition. Pokemon has always been a favorite of mine, and I love the images on the cover. It really is more gorgeous in person; the images glitter and look really cool. I haven't had a chance to watch the dvd that came with this yet, but I believe it is just an unaired pokemon episode. This pack comes with the DS, the dvd, 2 styluses, a bag for the DS, and a recharger. There is no game, but then you can just buy whatever game you want and get a cool DS! I would highly recommend the DS!

I have a 4 year old son that saw this and since his birthday was coming up, I went ahead and purchased it for him. I gave this to him for his birthday and when we opened it during his birthday party, you guys are not going to believe his reaction and all the little buddies of his. His expression was priceless. All his friends were like "WOW!" They never even knew this item existed. My son was so happy to receive this and he even went to sleep with it. Made me really happy. Thanks Nintendo and thank you Amazon for a prompt delivery!!!
Nice DS Lite For Animal Lovers August 21, 2008
If you love dogs this is the DS for you. it has a pawprint decal on it and a rare nintendogs best friends game.The Best Friends game has six popular breeds of dogs Miniature Dachshund(I also have a Mini Dachshund named Maggie)Beagle,Golden Retriever,Labrador Retriever,German Shepherd,and Yorkshire Terrier.I honestly think that the games are all the same.Once you get a lot of trainer points you unlock things that you can buy so you can actually unlock all the breeds like Chihuahua Dalmatian,Etc.The color of the DS looks better than coral pink,but I like the teal nintendo ds with the same game better. I don't own either one of them but tmy friend has one and she has a ton of games. Trust me ,If you love dogs or nintendogs this is NDS Bundle for you.
