5 out of 5 stars More fun then the Last Vegas   May 24, 2008
3 out of 3 found this review helpful

This game is just what I expected from the folks at Ubsoft as a sequel. All the things that I was bothered with were fixed e.g. how you could not see where your rank progress was, opening of weapons, and other equipment. Plus now your weapon settings stay the same so you dont have to keep putting on your scliencer and single shot after each time you get waxed. Plus the AI are more difficult, and realistic. Some times you will be shooting at one AI only to be flanked by his buddy. Well done and I look forward to playing any other Rainbow 6 installments.

4 out of 5 stars Another really short first person shooter!   May 23, 2008
I like almost every thing in this game the weapons, scenarios, controls, and the characters, the only down size is the fact that the game could be ended in 6 to 8 hours with no hurry, so for the non on line player thats a huge down size even though I'll give four stars because I really like the game play.

5 out of 5 stars Great stuff   May 21, 2008
This is a great game. The most amazing part of the game was definately the terrorist hunt. Playing the terrorist hunt in lone wolf mode was great especially when you play it with a friend. Great game and Ubisoft should just keep 'em coming!

3 out of 5 stars A resounding Meh   May 21, 2008
Single player was fun, but the multiplayer was a frustrating experience. I sold this game.

I was hoping for more. I was hoping this game would overtake CoD4 as the best multiplayer game, but it certainly didn't. I had fun with the single player, but I just couldn't get into the multiplayer. It was not worth $60.

4 out of 5 stars Great Multi-Player   May 12, 2008
I picked this game up a few weeks prior to GTA IV coming out. I really enjoyed it, and feel that the multi-player is really where this game excels. While I do enjoy Halo 3 for what it has done for the gaming community, I prefer "real" shooters to "futuristic" shooters. In other words, I enjoy shooting true-to-life weapons versus plasma alien rifles.

The single player, story mode is a short, but I can easily fill in the time with the multi-player and terrorist hunt modes. Clearly not as good as C.O.D. 4 - simply for the record.

As many others have mentioned, if you're looking for a "continuation" of the original Vegas story, then you might be disappointed. If you're looking for a solid XBox 360 shooter, this is where it's at. Worth the purchase.
